Boo Boo entered this world with a congenital defect, leaving his eyes undeveloped. That hasn’t stopped him!
It seemed like Boo Boo had found his forever home, but the circumstances weren’t the best.
A compassionate woman, purchasing a dog from the same breeder, spotted Boo Boo and requested to take him in, hoping to find him a loving home.
When she realized the challenges of placing a special needs dog, she made the choice to keep him. We don’t know why, but he was confined to a small space for many years. Human interaction and veterinary care were scarce, yet Boo Boo’s unwavering sweetness and happiness persisted.
A stranger recognized that life should be better for Boo Boo.
One day, a regular visitor to the woman’s home recognized the potential for a better life for Boo Boo. With the owner’s agreement, this caring visitor took it upon themselves to find him a new sanctuary. When they reached out to us, we gladly welcomed Boo Boo into our care.
Our first priority was to provide Boo Boo with essential vaccinations and schedule his neutering. As he took steps toward better health, an unexpected setback struck: pneumonia. For five challenging days, he fought his way back to health, barking orders to the devoted staff who cared for him. Lovingly dubbed “The General,” Boo Boo demonstrated an indomitable spirit.
What he lacks in sight, he makes up for in personality!
Today, Boo Boo embodies a feisty little soul with an immense personality. His blindness does not define or hinder him; instead, he defies limits and embraces life to the fullest. With his role as our in-house comedian, he reminds us that our purpose is to serve his royal presence. Boo Boo brings immeasurable joy and blessings to us all.
